Economics High School Sombor was founded in 1888. After a series of reforms, the change of secondary education, since March 1993 school operates under the name Economics High School Sombor. Students are educated through two areas of work: economics, law and administration and commerce, hospitality and tourism. Economics High School Sombor has a mission of vocational education and training of young people, qualified to meet the requirements of work in accordance with European standards of work or further education. At the beginning of the school year 2018/2019, the Economics High School Sombor celebrated its 130th anniversary. In recent years, the Economics High School Sombor has been present in all domains of school life, vocational education reform, and the media. At the same time, several projects are being implemented at the school, significant for the development and improvement of teaching, cross-border cooperation, multiculturalism, tolerance. Educational work is realized by 66 teachers and three expert associates. Classes are taught in Serbian and Hungarian.

Secondary Vocational School Pod Banosom 80 was created in Sep 4 2007 after the merging of Private Secondary School and School of Agriculture. The School of Agriculture had had 50 year tradition in agricultures´ and foodstuffs´ branches. The new based school is aimed at growing up qualified agricultural and foodstuff workers. In the cooperation with the Rural Parliament they build the school aimed at the rural development. They offer different vocational and study branches. Their graduates become private entrepreneurs in the rural areas and are able to manage the country in the agricultural tourism and the other agricultural services. In the foodstuff they try to preserve traditional flavours instead of producing the popular processed foods and the mixtures. They support the newest technologies as well as we prefer the traditional flavours of our products. This way they want to save the cultural customs and the other specifics, which are considered to be the main factors in the tourism development in general.

Agrupamento de Escolas de Barcelos was born on 4 July 2012, due to the unification of Abel Verzim School and Barcelos Secondaryschool. It is about an Union of schools with an important dimension, with the implantation in an extended area of Barcelos District, in the two banks of the Cávado river, and it gives an educational response to student people from Barcelos urban area to Póvoa de Varzim and Esposende's district borderline. The area of influence of the Union is felt deeply in the communities of Barcelos, Arcozelo, Vila Fresquinha, Barqueiros, Cristelo, Faria, Fornelos, Gilmonde, Milhazes, Paradela, Vila Seca and Vilar de Figos but it is extended through traditional strength previous to hara been composed, across all communities of Barcelos, in particular those communities set close to Cávado river. The Agrupamento de Escolas de Barcelos with students between 3 and 18 years of age. We have 2400 students and 260 teachers. Have Kingarden, primary school and secondary sechool. Barcelos School Union realized in the last 10 years, different European projects in the field of Comenius, Leonardo da Vinci, Individual Mobility of Student, Comenius Assistent and Continuing Training of Teachers. The Internationalization of the Union's students is a strong point of its citizenship and it contributes for the improvement of its development and for the lengthen of its interventation in the world and employment. For the teachers, we recognize the importance of an enduring bringing up to date of them, in this way, it supports the access in the way of the continuous training. In this way we motivate the participation in actions of training, the regularity of seminars and courses of scientific and pedagogical kind which allowed teachers to appreciate professionally and improve their performances
